Springtime is my absolute favorite season of the year. The weather seems to be just the right temperature, unless of course you’re in Palm Spring where it’s already 100-degrees. 🥵 I love being surrounded by all the flowers that are blooming and just soaking in all the beauty of nature. Around this time, I slowly begin transitioning my wardrobe to lightweight fabrics, brighter colors, and flowing silhouettes. In my world, this is when white becomes the new black.
I can’t help it, every season I manage to spot a new trend on the runway that I must participate in. To start, this means translating the exaggerated runway looks into more wearable street style looks.
I am, and always will be, a heels over sneakers kinda girl. But sometimes you just have to give your feet a break and opt for something comfier. The good news is the sneaker trend is still going strong and designers have made sneakers that are just as – if not more – chic and fashion forward as the stiletto.
Red is my favorite color and I’ve been wearing it non-stop lately. This time I wore a red ribbed turtleneck from Derek Lam (on sale here and here!) with my favorite cuffed re/done jeans, red boots, and all red accessories-minus the Fendi peekaboo bag!
