I love statement sweaters especially this Dries Van Noten one with the bright yellow diamonds that kinda remind me of a kaleidoscope! I tucked this chunky sweater into a pair of grey jeans and added another pop of color by carrying this bright orange and navy Celine bag! The slouchy sweater is really the perfect piece for day or night and looks so effortlessly cool! There are plenty of sweaters this fall and winter with quirky prints, bold colors, and all sorts of appliqués so ditch that coat and opt for an oversized sweater instead!
The season for layering has arrived. Not only does this technique keep you warm, but it also makes your outfit a whole lot more interesting! I layered a basic black turtleneck under this beautiful crochet lace Sacai sweater! The black peeking out from underneath the crochet details of the sweater gave the look a fresh spin for the colder months! I highly recommend everyone to stock up on basic turtlenecks as they make for great layering pieces underneath cutout sweaters, slip dresses and etc!
Throw a tunic and a pair of over the knee boots and you’re all set to go this winter! Whether it is an oversized sweater or a long printed top (like the one I’m wearing), this combination has become one of my go to winter outfits. Over the knee boots are a must have for several reasons. 1) you can wear your favorite dress in the winter without freezing your legs, 2) they give you legs for daysss! I wore this grid Rag & Bone tunic with my favorite Stuart Weitzman over the knee boots and carried my furry Givenchy bag!
Proenza Schouler has been killing it lately and this lace up sweater fresh off the Fall 2016 Ready-to-Wear runway is just to die for! Everything from the lace up details to the silver grommets make this sweater an edgy and chic piece that transitions perfectly into fall. I layered this sweater over a black mini skirt and topped it off with over the knee boots from Stuart Weitzman and the a Givenchy bag.
The weather patterns in California now is freezing in the morning and too hot in the afternoon! So for today, I wore this beautiful white and black ribbed Proenza Schouler dress that had these really cool bandage wrap straps around the waist! I paired this knit sweater dress with Proenza shoes and my favorite Proenza bag that is trimmed with black crochet details and silver pom poms!(head to toe Proenza today!) I love this shoe and wear it quite often because the heel is pretty low and the ring tie detail and mirrored cylinder heel make it so unique!
I was completely obsessed with this Acne Studios sweater the second I saw it on the runway! I knew I had to have it when it hit stores and I still remember eagerly ordering it online! Everything from the asymmetrical net-like hole cutouts to the orange and white patches on the sleeve made it so unique and special! I paired the sweater with a black skirt I bought from Zara yesterday and the nude Stuart Weitzman nudist (I have way too many nudist sandals!)
