I would call myself a style chameleon. And that’s because my style is a full spectrum – one day I’ll be wearing a feminine and flirty dress and the next day a full leather on leather look. This outfit is in-between the two.
I love the way this Caroline Constas skirt drapes! It is so flowy and lightweight making it perfect for the weather in LA. It also happened to pair perfectly with these Malone Souliers pumps! I wasn’t sure if I wanted to throw on the leather jacket but I ended up doing it because I love the feminine and edgy mix!
I’m sure you guys know by now I’m obsessed with this logo trend. Everyone’s doing it, and killing it and I just can’t get enough! This Balenciaga turtleneck is one of my latest pieces and I love the oversized knit shape. It looks great tucked into a pair of jeans or can be worn as a short sweater dress with a pair of over the knee boots. I also have this scarf version from Balenciaga with the same logo print on it and I can’t wait to wear it!
I was in LA for the Dior show last week so, of course, I had to make my way down Rodeo Drive! There was a super cute little flower box nestled on the corner of Two Rodeo that everyone was crowded around taking pictures in! Clearly this was set up for Mother’s Day as why else would there be a photo box filled with pink and red flowers! Happy Mother’s Day to all the mom’s out there!
Although I’ve been to LA many times, I had never visited LACMA! I’ve always seen the pics on Instagram of the beautiful light pillars so I knew I had to go this time! I went to LACMA wearing a chunky orange sweater and vintage Levi’s with Dior pumps I had just bought the previous day! The sun was so bright that morning and casted linear shadows everywhere! Later that day, I made my way back to Rodeo Drive to grab something to eat at one of my fave lunch spots, 208 Rodeo. Naturally, I stopped by Louis Vuitton and picked up a few favorites! I was so in love with the mirrored panels on the exterior of the Louis Vuitton store!
A friend of mine told me to check out What Goes Around Comes Around for the best vintage designer finds and I couldn’t help but browse the site during my spare time to see what they have to offer. I stumbled across this gorgeous Balenciaga jacket from 2001 ad knew I had to have it. Worn by the Gisele Bundchen, this runway piece was designed by Nicholas Ghesquiere for Balenciaga and it features a beautifully tailored silhouette with large shoulder pads and oversized lapels embellished with gold buttons. I paired this jacket with a plain black turtleneck and gold accessories like the Lana necklace and Chanel belt. I can’t wait to visit the What Goes Around Comes Around boutique when I’m down in LA later this week to see what other pieces they have!
