One of my favorite things to wear in the summer is a flirty and flowy dress. This Jonathan Simkhai piece is my definition of summer dress perfection! 🙌
The weather in the Bay Area is something I’ve learned to appreciate and not take for granted after living in LA for the past 6 months. I remember when I used to complain about the heat when it was anything over 80 or 90 degrees outside. Especially after coming back from Japan a few weeks ago where it was very hot and humid, the weather in the Bay Area felt like a dream! This maxi dress from Fendi is so perfect for summer and I wore it out to the city on a beautiful sunny day.
Greetings from Tokyo!

Mixing various patterns and textures is one of my favorite ways to give an outfit more depth and make it a bit more interesting! And yes, playing with patterns can be difficult as some combinations just don’t look good together. But for me, it’s not so much about the prints, but more about the color of the prints.
Lilac is the color of the year and was seen in many designer collection including Miu Miu, Victoria Beckham, Kenzo, and Tibi. It is the perfect pastel color for Spring/Summer and I just can’t get enough of it. I wore these wide leg TIbi pants with a chunky cropped sweater and paired everything with silver accessories.

Overalls are a summer closet staple. They are fun, versatile, and bring an effortless touch to any look. But, it can sometimes be difficult figuring out what to wear with them. You want to created an elevated look that screams cool, effortless, chic and not end up looking like a 6th grade version of yourself…lol
For summer, shorts overalls are a popular pick and choosing a linen or cotton pair will keep you cool on hot days. Depending on my mood, I like to layer my overalls with either an off the shoulder crop top to show a little midriff or a button down collared shirt for a more polished look. I also think it’s cool to leave one strap unbuckled to give the outfit a slouchy and “undone” look.
