I can’t believe I’m finally 21!
If there’s a perfect place to celebrate a 21st birthday…its Vegas and we went all out!
I would call myself a style chameleon. And that’s because my style is a full spectrum – one day I’ll be wearing a feminine and flirty dress and the next day a full leather on leather look. This outfit is in-between the two.
I love the way this Caroline Constas skirt drapes! It is so flowy and lightweight making it perfect for the weather in LA. It also happened to pair perfectly with these Malone Souliers pumps! I wasn’t sure if I wanted to throw on the leather jacket but I ended up doing it because I love the feminine and edgy mix!
I was wearing:
Skirt: Caroline Constas
Shoes: Malone Souliers
I love leather – real or faux, smooth or textured, shiny or matte I don’t discriminate. Fortunately, it’s finally starting to get cold enough to wear a full leather look in California. I decided it was time I break in one of my favorite leather jacket purchases from earlier this year – this beautiful Alexander Wang number.
Alexander Wang can do no wrong. His laid back, “model off-duty” aesthetic and edgy interpretations of casual wear really speaks to me. And, this jacket is the definition of perfection. It has the western vibes from the fringe detailing on the back without looking too cowgirl – less rodeo Cowboy and more Rodeo Drive 😂
I love the cropped length and the intricate piercings, hardware details, and scalloped chain hem. It makes the jacket so special! I styled it with the comfiest faux leather leggings from Aritzia and leather Saint Laurent leather booties for a leather on leather look. My bag of choice was a goat hair nightingale from Givenchy. I thought it added a fun and furry touch to the edgier look.
This bag always makes me smile whenever I see it. My hair was all black before I got highlights and I remember one of my friends said to me “oh my gosh Jaime this bag looks like your hair!” 😆 She wasn’t wrong…It really kinda does! haha
I was wearing:
Jacket: Alexander Wang
Turtleneck: Gucci (similar)
Leggings: Aritzia (similar)
Boots: Saint Laurent
I am, and always will be, a heels over sneakers kinda girl. But sometimes you just have to give your feet a break and opt for something comfier. The good news is the sneaker trend is still going strong and designers have made sneakers that are just as – if not more – chic and fashion forward as the stiletto.
Wearing underwear as outerwear has become totally acceptable. And some underwear is just too pretty to be hidden under clothes! Believe it or not, this trend has been around for ages and wasn’t invented by the Kardashians. Celebrities like Rihanna and Kate Moss have been spotted wearing their lingerie and undergarments from day to night.
