Someone recently asked me for some book recommendations so I’ve decided to share a few of my favorites with all of you. Did you know that I actually love to read!? Although that hasn’t always been the case…reading was one of my least favorite things during middle school and high school but overtime I’ve discovered that I love reading books that inspire or teach me something new.
Since I travel often, I always take a book with me or download one on my iPad because I never know which movie to watch on a plane. Below is a list of a some of my favorites books:
You Are A Badass: How to Stop Doubting Your Greatness and Start Living an Awesome Life by Jen Sincero is an edgy, female-focused, motivational book that is sure to inspire you to change up your life.
The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck: A Counterintuitive Approach to Living a Good Life by Mark Manson is brutally honest so be prepared. It will help you realize what you should care about and what problems you should focus on rather than worrying about everything.
The Power of Habit: Why We Do What We Do in Life and Business by Charles Duhigg will inspire you to change your habits and as a result, you will begin to see changes happen in your life.
The Power of Now: A Guide to Spiritual Enlightenment Paperback by Eckhart Tolle is one that I reread every once in a while. It really helps you stay present and reminds you to disconnect from your ego.
Daring Greatly: How the Courage to Be Vulnerable Transforms the Way We Live, Love, Parent, and Lead by Brene Brown (I also love her other books and her Netflix special The Call to Courage) teaches you that vulnerability is courage so you better just get out there and do it even if it freaks you out!
Would love to hear some of your favorites so if you have any recommendations please send them my way!
