One simply cannot go to Venice and skip out on riding a gondola or of course, eating lots of pasta. Riding a gondola may seem a bit touristy but it is an absolute MUST! It is one of the best ways to see all of Venice and really immerse yourself in its beauty. I just loved passing underneath the historic bridges and through the narrowest canals. It also gave me an incredible view of the beautiful architecture; it was like something out of a movie. I’ve been to the The Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas multiple times with a “fake Venice”, but nothing compares to seeing the real thing.
I wore this white one shoulder Jacquemus dress and paired it with Jacquemus lace-up sandals and a mini Jacquemus bag for an all-white look. Have I mentioned that I just loveeee wearing all white especially during the summer? It’s fresh, bright, and always chic. You know how they say you’re not supposed to wear white after Labor Day? Well, my new rule is it’s no all-black outfits after Memorial Day. There is no reason to wear all black during the summertime! 🙂
My Venice trip was a bit last minute so I didn’t make any restaurant reservations in advance but you simply can’t go wrong ordering pasta in Italy. It definitely took courage to eat spaghetti while wearing all white but I managed to do it without getting tomato sauce all over my dress!
