Shopping in Florence

September 29, 2019

As soon as I arrived in Florence I checked into the Helvetia & Bristol, which happens to be in the heart of the shopping district so you probably already know where this is going. First stop, Luisa (aka Luisaviaroma)! This luxury boutique, which literally has every fashion label I love, is also a great place to discover up and coming designers. I’m not going to lie; I think I basically bought half the store.

Whenever I go shopping, I like to wear a simple, casual look. It makes it easy for me to try clothes on. For my day of damage in Florence, I wore a denim mini skirt, a white shirt, and this super cool blazer by Delada. I discovered this designer at Le Bon Marché while I was in Paris for couture week. The unique sleeve detailing on this blazer is what caught my eye. I love a classic piece with a twist. The blazer is linen but the sleeves are poplin and linen. If you look closely, you’ll notice that the ¾ of the sleeve is a rolled up striped poplin but then its linen again, basically like two sleeves together. One of the treasures of traveling is getting exposed to new designers and having the opportunity to shop items that I can’t find back home or online in the United State. Florence is known as one of the top shopping capitals of the world so it was only fitting that I took the time to scope out all the new fall pieces.

I was wearing:

Blazer: Delada

Skirt: Levi’s

Shoes: Jacquemus

Bag: Jacquemus

Earrings: Rosantica
