My hotel was very close to the Trevi Fountain (5 min walk) so as soon as I arrived and checked in, I walked over to the Trevi. I had never seen a place so packed with people. Selfie sticks were sticking up all over the place, people holding ice cream cones, policemen, and a whole lot of tourists and families. I’m not a fan of people in the background of my photos so I knew if I wanted to get a shot in front of the Trevi with no people in my picture, I would have to get there extra early.
The next morning I got there at 6:30am and managed to capture some amazing photos before the tourists arrived. Some people believe that if you throw two coins over your right shoulder into the Trevi fountain, a new romance will come your way. I figured why not do the same and see what the universe brings? I wore a Carolina Constas polka dot dress with a fitted smocked bodice and flowing layers of ruffle tiers.
While some people may find that a dress like this is more suitable for fancier evening out, I decided to style it in a manner that makes it perfect for a summer day in the city. I accessorized my look with statement earrings, a Chanel vanity case bag and my comfortable CHA-NEL sandals.
I was wearing:
