Before heading to Tulum I created a little list of all the food places I wanted to go to with Matcha Mama at the top. This little roadside hut serves fresh açaí bowls and smoothies which was obviously a must for me since I love anything and everything that is healthy and organic. On our first morning in Tulum, I headed straight over to Matcha Mama for breakfast and it did not disappoint! There were so many yummy options I wanted to order the whole menu and it was perfect for the hot weather!
I ended up getting a mango smoothie and a berry açaí bowl (it was almost too pretty to eat) and they were both super yummy. Surrounded by swings, and adorable colorful signs, it’s the ultimate place to take some insta photos too 😊 From here you can also walk around to the neighboring little shops and restaurants.
After breakfast, we headed back to our hotel (Azulik). This hotel has a reputation as one of the most unique jungle getaways in the world; the rustic tree-houses and stepping stone pathways make it such an incredible place.
