Whenever a new year rolls around I like to take inventory of my closet and spend some time purging and organizing. Part of curating a timeless wardrobe means investing in essentials like a great blazer. As a California girl living in sunshine, a great blazer is a year-round layering piece that I grab often. Blazers are my favorite clothing piece because they are extremely versatile and designers are always finding ways to reinvent them!
During the holidays, I came across this Jacquemus peplum blazer that epitomizes a femme fatale aesthetic. I was debating whether to get the pale yellow or black color but ended up choosing the yellow as it was more unique. I loveeee the silhouette of this blazer. The draped peplum hem sets it apart from more traditional silhouettes and the cinched waist creates a slimming hourglass that is really flattering. I decided to layer it over a burgundy turtleneck with gold accessories and wore burgundy flared trousers to match.
I was wearing:
Blazer: Jacquemus
Turtleneck: Victoria Beckham
Pants: & Other Stories
Shoes: Balenciaga
Bag: Prada
Necklace: Dior
Earrings: Jacquemus
