Coachella Shopping Guide

April 7, 2018

It’s officially the start of festival season!  With Coachella beginning in just a week, I have put together a festival shopping guide (because lets face it, you’re there for both the fashion and the music).  Denim shorts and crop tops are usually the first two things that come to mind for most people when they think of festival style.  But, I created this guide to help you shy away from those basics.  So whether you’re preparing for Coachella or plan on attending another festival, click through to find all the key pieces you need to stand out in the crowd!

Matching Sets

These sets will be your best friend when you have no idea what to wear and you just need to look put together and rush out the door.  It’s easy to just throw on and go and works for just about anywhere and any occasion.

I also love a good jumpsuit or romper.  Just like a matching set, they make for a quick and easy outfit especially if you’re running late.

If you plan on wearing a dress, opt for a silhouette that is flowy and looser cut for an easy breezy look.  The desert can get pretty hot so you want to be sure you stay as cool as possible while you bust a few moves.

If you’ve been to Coachella, you know It’s important to wear a comfortable pair of shoes.  Sneakers are going to be your best friend!  Comfortable boots are also good.  Don’t be that crazy person that wears high heels to Coachella and has a miserable time because you do A LOT of walking.  And if you do have a pair of high heels you want to wear for an event or party, make sure to bring some comfortable shoes to change into afterwards.  I also don’t recommend sandals or open toe shoes because it is very dusty so your toes will be black by the end of the day…oh and people will be stepping all over your feet when they’re dancing to Beyonce so you’re toes will also be bruised…

In terms of accessories, backpacks are an essential!  Mini backpacks are super cute and perfect for holding your water, phone, wallet, keys and any other necessities.  Also, don’t forget to wear sunglasses and a hat!

Last but not least…..swimsuits!  If you’re going to a pool party, check out some of these pieces.  They’re perfect for lounging poolside or posing on one of those giant inflatable swans!
